Bishop Obinim fixes road for community at a cost of GHC1.2m
The General Administrator of the church, Rev Kwadwo Adu Boahen told the Daily Guide that Bishop Obinim is doing this because he wants to do more as a servant of God than only healing the sick and the afflicted in society.
He added that Bishop Obinim is undertaking this project because of the number of complaints he (Obinim) had received from the residents.
He indicated that his boss who is also referred to as ‘Angel,’ has decided to use some of his money for the benefit of the local residents of the area where the Kumasi branch of his church is based as part of his contribution to society.
Speaking to some drivers who ply the road regularly, they expressed their joy and appreciation to Bishop Daniel Obinim for undertaking this project. They said the construction of the Brofoyedu-Bosore Road would lessen their plight.
“We are very thankful to ‘Angel’ Obinim for this road construction project. It has reduced the frequent breakdown of our taxis,” Joe Frank, a driver at the Brofoyedu Taxi Rank indicated.
He added that other wealthy individuals can also emulate the Angel in order to make the society a better one.
Other commercial drivers said since Obinim is doing what the government is supposed to be doing, he must be acknowledged for his contributions to the development of the country.
