Judge bars journalists from covering JB murder case

Journalists were today [Thursday, June 15]  prevented from covering the murder trial of the two suspects accused of killing a former Member of Parliament JB Danquah.

The judge, Aret Nsomoh ordered the journalists to stay out of the court room.

She said: "I don't want any journalist in my court room."

The case was, however, adjourned to 29 June as the prosecutor, George Amega, told the court that he was waiting for advice from the Attorney General on the case.

Daniel and Vincent were rearrested and arraigned after a High Court discharged them due to a decision by the Attorney General to discontinue at the court.

The two have been charged with murder and abetment of murder.
