Nana Konadu, 70, is the wife of Ghana’s first president in the Fourth Republic, Jerry John Rawlings.

According to her, she has already informed her husband of her intention to live on earth for at least 50 more years.

Mrs. Rawlings made the statement during the Glitz Women of the Year Honours held April 13, 2019, at the Labadi Beach Hotel.

She said she loves to stay young and has a deliberate plan that she pursues every day to help her achieve her aim of living long.

“I love to stay young all the time. I have told my husband that I am not living less than 120 years,” the former First Lady said, as quoted by Gbcghanaonline.com.

Nana Konadu was one of many women who were honoured during this year’s Glitz Women of the Year Honours

She received the Ayekoo Award for her outstanding role in mentoring young ladies in the country over the years.

Nana Konadu has been married to JJ Rawlings since 1987, with the couple blessed with four lovely children.
