Leinster will be without Ireland international Fergus McFadden for their next two European Rugby Champions Cup clashes after he was suspended for three weeks.
McFadden was punished by an independent Pro12 Rugby Disciplinary Committee on Wednesday having been cited for stamping or trampling on an opponent against Connacht.
The 29-year-old wing admitted he had committed an act of foul play that would have warranted his dismissal on the field.
McFadden was found to have acted recklessly in relation to the incident and could have been hit with a five-week ban for the offence.
However, his previous disciplinary record and acknowledgement of wrongdoing saw his suspension reduced by two weeks.
As a result he will miss Friday's Pro12 clash with Ospreys, and back-to-back European matches against Bath and Wasps.
