Former Ghana International Laryea Kingston has revealed his former national teammate and Chelsea legend Michael Essien has obtained a license to coach from UEFA.
Kingston spoke at the final of the 'Rexona Be A Champion' project when he urged his colleague retired footballers to go into coaching.
"I do urge most of my colleagues to go into coaching. I felt very happy after Michael Essien told me he has obtained his UEFA B license. I was really delighted to hear that because some of my teammates are 'shy' to be on the touch-line but I believe such steps can help develop our football very well,".
Kingston also stated that those who played with him in the Black Stars and are into coaching wield experience to help the young emerging talents.

Essien is now qualified to coach in the Ghana Premier League but will need a Pro License in order to coach a top tier side in England.
Essien is now clubless after terminating his contract Persib Bandung.
