Accra Hearts of Oak have revealed that their new style of football for the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League will be termed as ‘Sushi’.
The name “Sushi’ is a Japanese food consisting of cooked vinegar rice combined with other ingredients, raw uncooked seafood, vegetables and tropical fruits and it is linked to the club’s trainer Kenichi Yatsuhashi who hailed from the Asia country.
The Phobians began their pre-season campaign on a poor note but getting closer to the commencement of the league they have found their rhythm and are being touted as one of the clubs to clinch the domestic top-flight championship.
And ahead of the Ghana Premier League, the former African champions have revealed that their new style of football will be termed ‘Sushi’.

“On Sunday Hearts will launch a new brand of football termed ‘sushi’ football or football made in Japan and that will be the formula and strategy to defeat New Edubiase,” said the chairman of the club’s five-man strategy committee Sowah Odotei.
The game will be Kenichi Yastuhashi’s debut Premier League game as coach of the Accra giants.
