Congo have beaten Ghana twice since their encounters which date back to 1965- the Black Stars defeated their Congolese counterparts 5-0 in a friendly game.

In all Ghana have faced off against Congo in 14 encounters, having won nine (9), lost two (2) and drawn three(3).

The good news for the four times champions of Africa is that they are yet to lose a competitive game against Congo. In eight (8), competitive games, the Black Stars have won seven (7) and drawn just one (1) against the Red Devils
