A state museum in central China has sparked an outcry after displaying pictures of Africans beside wild animals.
Recently a video has circulated online showing an astonishingly offensive exhibit at a Chinese museum in which photos of Africans are framed alongside photos of animals sporting similar expressions
The hugely popular 'This is Africa' exhibition mainly displays significant relics of historical importance.
The outrage got started after an African visitor Edward Duke posted a video he recorded at the museum on Instagram.
Duke who claims to be a Nigerian wrote: 'The Hubei Provincial Museum put pictures of a particular race next to wild animals why?' Are they the only race to have impoverished looking?'
While video from the exhibit has been deleted from Duke's Instagram page, it remains up elsewhere on social media. You can watch below.
