Cindy and Lele Tomato paste recalled from the market, here is why

Rabaj Company Limited has recalled all Cindy and Lele tomato paste from the market after it identified "an anomaly in a particular batch".

This was contained in a public notice to all key distributors and retailers of Cindy and Lele tomato pastes.

The notice asked all retailers and distributors to return stock in their possession to their depots nationwide.

It further advised individuals who have any of the two brands to return them to the retail outlets where they were purchased.

Rabaj explained that recalling all batches of the brands will ensure that they clear the particular defective batch from the market.
