Ghanaian defender pays visit to hospitalized coach

Samuel Inkoom and his Antalyaspor teammates visit their coach at the hospital

Ghanaian defender Samuel Inkoom paid a visit to his Antalyaspor coach Jose Ferreira de Morais who has been admitted at the hospital.

The former Chelsea FC assistant coach was sent to the hospital after Wednesday’s training with Antalyaspor having complained of a headache. Tests done at the Akdeniz University Hospital detected high blood pressure which was triggered by a brain hemorrhage.

The doctor taking care of Inkoom’s coach, Prof. Dr. Mahmut Akyuz confirmed “our patient morale is fine”. Mr. Morais is being monitored and will be discharged on Monday after final checks.

Antalyaspor coach Jose Morais will miss his side’s away game in the Turkish League on Sunday against Jerry Akaminko’s former club Eskisehirspor.

“We visited our coach before Eskisehirspor game. His morale is rather good, we promised him to be unity and solidarity in the game. We will fight for you Jose!”
