The 2016 flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Akufo-Addo has said current internal conflicts at the national executive level have not affected grassroots mobilisation.

The NPP has been reported as going through some internal struggles. The development, some political observers have said will likely affect the fortunes of the party in the 2016 elections.

But, speaking on Accra-based Citi FM, the flagbearer of the party said "the challenges at the national executive level of the party has not affected us at the grassroots level".

He further admitted that challenges currently going on in the party were normal, just as any institution was bound to experience such problems.
