Dark Suburb attacks prophet for calling them “satanic”.

Chief Priest of the mysterious music band vehemently denied having anything to do with the devil.

Dark Suburb has described as “absolute rubbish and nonsensical” assertions by Akosua Agyapong’s husband that, the group is satanic.

Prophet Daniel Larbi, has remarked that the cover story of the group, their costume, ideology and their stage act invoke demons. According to him, when the Dark Suburb group was performing at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, there was a change in atmosphere and he could feel the presence of demons.

Reacting to the claims on Pluzz FM, the Chief Priest of the mysterious music band vehemently denied having anything to do with the devil. He believes the founder of House of God International Ministry and President of World Wide Council of Prophetic Alliance lacks knowledge to appreciate what is artistic.

“Absolutely rubbish! Our songs talk about economic hardship, speaks against racism and all. It is for the under privileged. The band celebrates people we think they are dead. The reason for our costume. If that is what he is saying, then invariably, everyone is demonic. What we wear is designed by Chapter 1 who has designed clothe for several Ghanaians. Are they also demonic?” he quizzed.

He added, “God created skeleton and when you strip the skin, you will never know who is black or white. That is our fight against racism. It is absolutely nonsensical for someone to say we are demonic because he thinks are brand invokes demons. There is nothing spiritual about what we do. It is just an expression”.

The Chief Priest noted that the group will not allow the assertions of the prophet to sway them.

Dark Suburb is a new mysterious music band that has popped up in Ghana’s music industry. It is an Alternative Rock Band caught between the worlds of the seen and the unseen, the living and the dead. The group’s members are not known except the leader, referred to as “High Priest”. This is because they always perform behind the mask.
