The 2018 Rapperholic concert was held on Tuesday, December 25, 2018, at the Accra International Conference Centre.

Sarkodie was joined by Kwesi Arthur, Kuami Eugene, KiDi, Amakye Dede and a host of other musicians to thrill the audience.

The event was once again completely sold-out, with patrons filling the entire auditorium.

However, there were some criticisms in the aftermath, with some lamenting the poor organisation of the show.

Others also felt Sarkodie was not at his best, despite still managing to get the crowd dancing throughout.

But in a video titled “Sarkodie – Behind Rapperholic 2018”, the rapper explained that he was not in the best shape prior to the concert.

According to him, he was battling with sore throat and had even lost his voice, but had to pull himself together in order not to disappoint his fans.

“Prior to this year’s concert, I was super excited but also very worried. Worried because I wasn’t in my best shape to perform. I had a serious sore throat, cold, mild headache and I had lost my voice which I blame myself for stressing it before the main day,” Sarkodie said.

The Sarkcess Music boss, however, promised to ensure that things get better in the subsequent editions of the Rapperholic concert.
