“I wanted to be an actress while growing up, but the music dream was just too strong to ignore", she stated. She however added that, her ambition of becoming an actress is still there. "I still harbour that ambition”, she had said.

Kaakie revealed this when she appeared as a guest on the KSM show last Friday.

Talking about how being a dancehall artiste has shaped her life, she said, dancehall has made her 'stronger' and 'confident'. She also added that, the criticisms she receives from the public has made her to be more careful when engaging herself in certain 'stuff'.

Kaakie is known for hit songs like Too much, Toffee Pon Tongue, Zuuchia, Ronaldo, Ewoo, DC Turn up, among other hit songs. Though this was not her dream, she is doing well with it anyways.
