The mixed tempo afro-beats infused hip-hop jam creates awareness about girl-child education and the need for African leaders to take more drastic steps to secure their future.

AJ Nelson met Valentine Alvares through a Togolese friend. “I linked up with Valentine through a friend musician Gustav Legist, who is also a Togolese,” he revealed in a press statement.

The “Forward” rapper believes Valentine Alvares has an impeccable vocal ability.

“Valentine’s vocal strength is impeccable, her voice is so soothing that you would love to listen and listen and listen again,” he said.

The next move for AJ Nelson? He plans to release a new single off his upcoming extended play (EP).

“After this project, the first single of my upcoming EP is going to be released. The title of the song is ‘Guy Guy’ and it features Kwaku Afro and Ohene Savant. It’s a mixture of afrobeats and highlife.”
