Akon to begin Africa tour in 2020
RnB singer, Akon has said that he will be touring Africa from March 2020.

In an interview with Joy News, he explained that the aim of the tour is to project Africa and highlight the business opportunities in Africa to the rest of the world.
“We are putting together a tour all over Africa starting with Ghana. I will be announcing the dates very soon. Our aim is to do it towards the end of March and then move to other parts of Africa”
“The whole idea is to bring the music in, expose it more than we have already and keep reiterating that Africa is very talented and we have a business here that should be expanded and showcase all the opportunities here in Africa,” he added.

He indicated that he is currently promoting his Afrobeats Album ‘AKONDA’.
Akon added that he will drop his next album in April, 2020. He said that hopefully the next album will feature a Ghanaian artiste.
