Police officer pulls gun at black teenagers in a pool party
In the video posted on Saturday, June 6, 2015 the video sees a police man manhandling several black teenagers after responding to a disturbance at the local swimming pool.
The police who arrived at the scene chased female teenagers in their swim suit. On one occasion a police officer throws a girl to the ground pins her to the floor. He later pulls out a firearm when other teenagers approach him. Two police officers later intervened.
Responding to the controversial video, the McKinney Police Department said it is investigating the incident. In the Facebook post it also said one of the responding officers has been placed on administrative leave pending on the outcome of the internal investigation.
Brandon Brooks, who uploaded the video described it as "a fight between a mom and a girl broke out and when the cops showed up everyone ran, including the people who didn't do anything. So the cops just started putting everyone on the ground and in handcuffs for no reason. This kind of force is uncalled for especially on children and innocent bystanders."
