Speaking at forum with musicians and content creators in Accra, Hon. Afeku recounted her unforgettable experience at the AFRIMA's in Lagos, Nigeria last year.
She described it as a great experience and that her ministry was delighted to partner AFRIMA organisers to stage such solid displays in Ghana.
Mike Dada, the President of AFRIMA said Ghana will be hosting the fifth edition and it is set to commence from November 21-24.

He said there would be an Africa Music Business Summit with panelists drawn from across Africa and the globe to educate those involved in the music business as to how to make god money from their craft.
Regarding the massive free concert scheduled on Thursday November 22 at the Independence Square in Accra from five pm till dawn at the AFRIMA Music Village, Africa’s biggest acts will perform to the delight of their fans. Performers include from Ghana;Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, MzVee, Kwame Eugene, Fancy Gadam, Patapaa, Pappy Kojo, King Promise, Kidi, Wiyaala & VVIP. Togo’s Too Fan, Kenya’s Sauti Sol, Nigeria’s Simi, Mr. P, Mr. Eazi, Tiwa Savage, Falz, Davido & Patoranking.

On Saturday, November 24, there will be the AFRIMA Music Awards at the Accra International Conference Centre.
The AFRIMA shows will vibe broadcast live in 24 countries and on platforms like Multichoice, DSTV, GOTV and national TV stations.
