Okay, fiiiiine. Maybe they don't say that just yet but, trust me, they will soon enough-especially after watching Dr. Pimple Popper's latest Instagram video. That's because Los Angeles-based dermatologist (Sandra Lee, M.D.) just shared prime pimple-popping content, featuring a large and in-charge cyst protruding from her patient's left cheek.
As usual, Dr. Pimple Popper compared the cyst to food: "Lollipop, lollipop, oh lolli, lolli, lolli, LOLLIPOP! " the derm wrote in the caption. (Tbh, I've watched the video a few times, and I still can't see the candy resemblance, but I'll let you judge for yourself.)
In the beginning of the video, Dr. Pimple Popper clearly just finished a squeeze as the creamy off-white gunk is still oozing out of the patient's cheek. After a quick clean up, the action starts again as the derm goes in for another round of squeezin'-and things get juicy, fast.
As she pushes on either side of the cheek incision, chunks of super-thick gunk ooze out of the incision and then Dr. Pimple Popper moves on to cutting out the sac.
While sac-removal usually means her goo-squirting popping adventures are over, that is not the case in this clip. Dr. Pimple Popper is able to push out even more yuck that's whiter and grainier than the previous goo-so much so, in fact, its eerily similar to cottage cheese.
Clearly Dr. Pimple Popper's successfully put food on all of her viewers' minds, as people eagerly comment what type of eat they see: "Dude meat and potatoes...." one fan weighs in. Others are more dairy-focused: "Looks like cream cheese icing" and simply "Ricotta Cheese!" But the best-and, tbh, most confusing-comment of them all is from one fan who asks, "Why did my mouth get so watery?!"
Personally, I try my hardest not to think of food while I'm watching videos, but to each her own, I guess.
