You might accidentally be using the wrong type of eyelash curler
Here's what you should know.

So who needs which kind of curler?
Big eyes need one with a large arc such as Surratt Beauty Relevee Lash Curler. Smaller eyes can try a half curler, like M.A.C Half Lash Curler; use it in two sections to fully cover all your lashes.
Is there a technique that works for all eyes?
Yes! Angle the tool toward your nose and lightly press lashes three times: by the root, at the middle, and close to the end, for a gradual arc. (If you have short lashes, one crimp will do.)
My lashes wont stay lifted after I curl them—is there anything that will help?
Post-mascara, try a heated wand, such as Lash Star Beauty Heated Lash Styler. Run it through a few times to solidly set that arc.
