The Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority and GCNET have taken part in the World Customs Organisation Information Technology Conference and Exhibition in Senegal.

The conference convened customs administrations from all over the world, as well as shipping companies, supply chain and logistics companies to share knowledge on best practices and the changing nature of the sector.
GCNet in their release to the media after the conference said:
“The platform offered opportunities for exchanging, sharing of information and experiences as well as showcasing customs digital solutions.
As the internationally recognised Single Window operator in Ghana, GCNet and Customs showcased the Ghana Single Window, Ghana’s only one-stop shop for all Trade Information exchange and clearance processes platform for Customs."
The Registrar-General’s Department and the Domestic Tax Revenue Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority also exhibited the e-Registrar and the e-Tax Solutions that displayed the principle of a single data lodgement for multiple transactions by various agencies.
