The incident reportedly occurred at Ngyiresia, a fishing community in the Sekondi/Takoradi Metropolis.
The bodies of have been deposited at the Essikadu Government Hospital for autopsy.
They were said to be asleep with their parents, in separate rooms, when the disaster occurred on Friday May 31,2019.
The victims are between the ages of 1 and 17, according to the Sekondi Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly NADMO boss, James Obeng.
