Work is ongoing on the Kumasi Central and Kejetia Market projects.

Latest images from the facility show an improved structure from what it used to be when work started. The first phase of the project, according to officials is expected to be completed by end of 2016.

The Kejetia market is the largest single market in West Africa with over 10,000 stores and stalls.

The estimated cost of the project is 298 million dollars and it includes an ultra-modern market, a clinic, a police station, a social and recreational centre, ICT centre and a post office, a fire post, banks and a day-care centre.
