An employee of one of the stores witnessed a terrifying situation - a mother who came shopping with two children, locked one of them in the trunk of the car, and then entered the store with the other.

"The woman first noticed an approximately four-year-old boy running from store to store looking for his mother. At one point, the child almost fell under a passing car. When the boy's mother finally found herself, she grabbed the child violently and then put him like an object in the trunk of a Toyota passenger car, closed the door and went shopping with her second child," the police described the situation.

A store employee who witnessed this situation decided to intervene. She admonished the mother, who then let the four-year-old out of the trunk. Fortunately, the employee did not end her intervention and notified the police.
