Ghanaian boxer to challenge for WBO super-middleweight title

Habib Ahmed is set to face Gilberto Ramirez on the weekend of February 3, 2018 for a world title.

Ghanas super-middleweight boxer, Habib Ahmed is set to challenge Mexican super-middleweight champion Gilberto Ramirez on February 3, 2018 in Texas, USA.

Habib Ahmed will be going into his first professional fight outside Ghana since he turned professional in 2011.

Ahmed and Ramirez have one thing in common and that is an unbeaten record.

Ahmed is undefeated in 22 fights with 17 coming in by way of knockout whereas Ramirez has gone 36 fights straight without a loss with 24 knockouts.

Ramirez will be defending the title for the 3rd time after he defeated Arthur Abraham in 2016 to win the title.
