Ozil’s agent, Dr. Erkut Sogut, recently visited the Ghana and met with the Arsenal Supporters Club in the country.

Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has saluted the Arsenal Supporters Club in Ghana for their continuous show of support towards him.
The supporters subsequently presented a pencil portrait of Ozil to Dr. Sogut to be given to the German midfielder.
Reacting to this, Ozil posted a video of the group on Twitter and said such gestures make him happy.
“Messages like this make me really happy. Greetings back to the Arsenal Fan Club in Ghana and thanks for you amazing support from West Africa,” he wrote.
This comes after the 31-year-old expressed his delight after discovering that a football club in Ghana has been named after him.
“Abiriw Ozil Football Club. Nice to have a football club named after me in the Eastern Regional town of Abiriw in Ghana. Glad to see you all smiling in the @arsenal & #M10 shirt,” he wrote in a previous tweet.
Ozil was in action on Monday as Arsenal came from behind to beat West Ham United 3-1 in the Premier League.
