Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has expressed his delight after discovering that a football club in Ghana has been named after him.

His agent, Dr. Erkut Sogut, recently visited the club and presented them with some Arsenal jerseys on Ozil’s behalf.
Having realised that a club in Ghana is named after him, the German international took to Twitter to show his appreciation.
“Abiriw Ozil Football Club. Nice to have a football club named after me in the Eastern Regional town of Abiriw in Ghana. Glad to see you all smiling in the @arsenal & #M10 shirt,” he wrote.
Ozil was in action on Monday as Arsenal came from behind to beat West Ham United 3-1 in the Premier League.
