Ghanaian to miss out on Leicester's BMW i8’s

23 men, including Ghana's Joe Dodoo, took part in Leicester’s historic Premier League title win but only 19 received cars.

Leicester’s Premier League winning stars got a special surprise upon arriving at training today, two days before the Community Shield final against Manchester United.

Leicester City’s Thai chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha bought 19 BMW i8’s, worth around £100,000 each, for last season’s champions.

Interestingly, Claudio Ranieri used 23 players last season but there were only 19 cars.

Joe Dodoo, Andrej Kramaric, Yohan Benalouane and N’Golo Kante were almost definitely the four players to miss out on the BMW i8’s.

Dodoo departed the Foxes in the off-season to sign a four-year deal with Rangers, while Benalouane has not yet returned to the club after spending the second half of last season on loan at Fiorentina.

Key midfielder N’Golo Kante recently jumped ship for Chelsea whilst the other three only made a handful of substitute appearances between them.
