Court adjourns 'fake' HIV ambassador's case

A High Court in Accra has adjourned to June 4, a case involving the Ghana AIDS Commission and former HIV/AIDS ambassador, Joyce Dzidzor Mensah.

The Ghana AIDS Commission is seeking an order for the release of the medical records of the former HIV/AIDS ambassador.

Joyce Dzidzor revealed on Monday, December 15 2014 that she had never tested positive for HIV but was only telling the nation and the world on a lie just to satisfy her selfish interest.

The High Court presided over by Justice Mustapha Logo adjourned the case because notice on the case had not been served on the former ambassador.

After she lied about having HIV/AIDS, the AIDS Commission released a statement to rubbish her claim insisting she was tested positive to counteract Joyce’s claim with evidence backing it. The statement indicated that she was tested positive in 2007.
