This was the situation the outgoing British High Commissioner to Ghana Jon Benjamin found himself in on Tuesday, June 6, 2017.

He posted his boarding pass on Twitter to show the dates that had been typed by a domestic flight provider; Africa World Airlines (AWA).

On the ticket which he used from Accra to Kumasi the date was June 6, 2017 and the departing time was 9 am while the arrival time was 9:40 am.

On the boarding pass he used from Kumasi back to Accra, the departing date was June 6, 1917 and time 4:10 pm. However, the arrival date was June 6, 2017 and the time was 4:50 pm.

The journey to Kumasi was the seventh and final visit of Jon Benjamin to Kumasi.

He was in Kumasi to bid farewell to the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

The controversial British High Commissioner to Ghana, is set to officially come to an end of his service.
