Keche Joshua slams rising domestic flight Fares and poor road conditions( VIDEO)

• Keche Joshua has criticised the rising cost of domestic flights in Ghana, saying return trips between Accra, Kumasi and Takoradi could cost between GH¢5,000 and GH¢6,000.

The musician voiced his concerns in a video shared on social media on Sunday, September 6, 2026, where he questioned the cost of flying between Accra and other major cities, particularly Kumasi and Takoradi.

According to Keche Joshua, passengers planning return journeys on these routes could spend between GH¢5,000 and GH¢6,000 on airfare alone.

He questioned whether the service offered to passengers justifies such high fares, arguing that travellers paying thousands of cedis should be able to expect a corresponding level of comfort and service.

The musician's comments come amid wider concerns over the cost of travelling between regions in Ghana, with air travel often viewed as a faster alternative to long-distance road journeys.

Keche Joshua's criticism was not limited to domestic aviation. He also drew attention to the condition of some major roads connecting Accra to other parts of the country.

He particularly mentioned routes leading to the Ashanti and Western regions, describing some stretches as dangerous for motorists and passengers.
