Baby rescued from sewage in Minna

It is quite ironic that while many barren women are praying, fasting, undergoing several forms of assignments and spending huge sums of money just to have a baby, some heartless women who are so blessed, are throwing them away.

According to Rariya, an Hausa news portal, this new born baby was rescued by good Samaritans where she was dumped by it's mother in a sewage pit in a community in Minna, the capital of Niger State.

The baby who still had it's umbilical cord intact, was cleaned up and handed over to an orphanage.
