Rapper asks fans to stop comparing him to fellow rappers

E.L says he "refuse to be rated in an environment with a warped conception of what actual rap is."

According to the rapper, Ghanaians sense of judging 'what actual rap is', is 'warped' thus, he doesn't want to be 'rated'.

The rapper made this statement after a hashtag #SarkodieOrEL started trending on Twitter over the weekend.

Immediately after the trend, he took to Twitter to say "I am praying they'll stop comparing me to other rappers. I refuse to be rated in an environment with a warped conception of what actual rap is."

The rapper has recently been under pressure to respond to a supposed diss song Sarkodie released last week. According to many critics and social media commentators, the song titled "Bossy" was directed at him (E.L) hence, they anticipate a response from him.

The hastag #SarkodieOrEL was part of the efforts many critics are putting in to get the beef started. We have no idea who started the trend and it seems a few are not happy about it.
