Mr. Woyome also paid $5,000 for Administrative charges as ‘Claimant’.

Mr Woyome in April petitioned the United Nations-backed court over his compulsion to refund to the state the whopping sum of money paid to him by the past National Democratic Congress (NDC) government.

The Supreme Court has ordered the state to retrieve from Woyome the GH¢51.2 million after the apex court held that he[Woyome] fraudulently obtained the monies paid him by the NDC government for an invalid contract between the state and Waterville Holdings Limited in 2006 for the construction of stadia for CAN 2008.

Mr Woyome initially refunded only GH¢4 million out of the GH¢51.2 million to the state.

Although he subsequently promised to pay the outstanding balance by quarterly instalments of GH¢5 million from April 1, 2017, he has reneged on that promise.

He hoped that the quarterly instalments would be held off while he made his case at the ICC.
