Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo region has recorded the highest prevalence rate of 4.2 per cent which is above the national HIV prevalence of 2.4 per cent recorded in 2016, among pregnant women in the region.

According to the Regional HIV Coordinator, Emmanuel Obeng Hinneh, the case is attributed to people not acting on HIV/AIDS prevention education by health directorates.
