The outspoken Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has threatened to beat former  Director General of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), COP Bright Oduro.

According to him, he will give him [Oduro] three dirty slaps if he comes his way.

He said "Has he forgotten that he is no longer in uniform. He is not a man more than me. I will beat the hell out of that guy."

The sacked CID boss, according to reports stormed Adom TV on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 to demand the video clip of the discussions which featured Kennedy Agyapong and Central Regional Chairman of the opposition  National Democratic Congress (NDC), Allotey Jacobs.

According to Bright Oduro, the MP mentioned his name and wanted the video clip to ascertain what exactly he [Agyapong] said about him in the discussions.

But the the outspoken MP on Accra-based Oman FM said he'll face him squarely if he dares.

He alleged that COP Bright Oduro is corrupt.

"Where did his wife get the Range Rover she drives? Where did he get the cars he drives? How much was his pay? I will disgrace him because he is a first class thief," he noted.

Allegations against Bright Oduro

The Assin Central MP has been waging a relentless campaign against COP Oduro for his alleged connection with land guards.

He [Bright Oduro] is accused of giving cover to deadly land guards, especially in the Greater Accra Region and that his continuous stay in office will hinder plans by the Greater Accra Regional Police command to clampdown on land guards menace in the region which led to his dismissal.
