Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin wants to seal the group deal against USA

Black Starlets Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin is of the conviction that Ghana will go out and beat USA to qualify for the knockout phase

The Black Starlets started their FIFA U-17 World Cup tournament on a good note by beating Colombia 1-0 in the tournament opener on Friday,September 6, 2017.

The coach of the Ghana Black Starlets Paa Kwesi Fabin was speaking to the media ahead of the game against USA

The Coach made clear intentions of what he wanted to do in the second game. There have been a school of thought that due to the threat USA are likely to pose in the second game a draw could be favorable.

This is because India are opponents Ghana can dispatch in their last group game but Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin has begged to differ.

“We want to qualify with the second game. We are going all out to get the three points and we will be guaranteed a place in the last 16,” coach Fabin remarked.

Black Starlets will play USA on Monday and will finish the group stage campaign against host India on Thursday, September 12, 2017.

Ghana are two time winners of the competition but it’s been a decade since their last appearance in 2007. Ghana won in 1991 and 1995 but were semifinalist in the 2007 edition.
