Superstition rocks Kotoko-Hearts FA Cup final in Tamale

The two power houses clashed over the use of the Tamale Sports Stadium for training.

According to the reports Hearts of Oak were supposed to train between the hours of 8am to 11am for Asante Kotoko to train from 3pm to 5pm on Saturday at the Tamale Sports Stadium.

However, Phobians were not present to train at the scheduled time for their rehearsal and only arrived after Asante Kotoko had completed their training session.

The Porcupine Warriors decided not to leave the field to pave way for Hearts of Oak, since their time for training had elapsed.

This almost resulted in exchange of blows, but the issue was sorted out and Hearts of Oak had to train up to 6:20pm under a seemingly darkness.

The information gathered by Pulse Sports indicate that each of the two clubs wanted to train there last because they believe it would bring them good luck.
