It was the academy boys wo began the scoring in the 30 minute through Reginald Thompson, before Godfred Odametey, the skipper of the side doubled their lead in the 35 minute.
But Shafiu Mumuni reduced the deficit for the Local Black Stars when he intercepted a shot from Zakaria Mumuni in the 40 minute.
Thompson however, restored De Visser’ two goal margin when he scored the third in what stood as the match winner.
The Black Stars have had a rosy preparation having enjoyed several victories and draws ahead of their clash against Burkina Faso.
The defeat against the academy boys is a wake-up and it is expected to keep them alert when they face their West African counterparts in the qualifiers of the 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN).
The team will travel to Ouagadougu to acclimatize themselves with the weather before the game over the weekend.
