Hollywood icon Al Pacino has sent a goodluck message to Lionel Messi and his Argentine teammates ahead of the Copa America final against Chile.
The Argentines thrashed Paraguay in the semi-final 6-1 to progress to the final undefined.
Al Pacino is an American actor and filmmaker who is well known for playing mobsters, especially Michael Corleone in 'The Godfather' films and Tony Montana in 'Scarface'.
He sent the goodluck message to the team on behalf of his Argentine long-term girlfriend Lucila Sola whom he has been following the La Albiceleste's Copa matches with.
Pacino, 75, and Sola, 34 years his junior, have been together for five years and she apparently made the veteran actor to send a recorded video message to Gerardo Martino's men.
"I’ve been told I’m talking to the soccer team and I just saw you play yet again and I love the way you play," Pacino said.
"I love to watch your approach, I get excited along with my wonderful girlfriend Lucila Sola and we watch you and we love you and I get really happy when I see you play and it’s always a pleasure for me.
"I’m very excited to be even talking to you, it’s thrilling for me to talk to you and to let you know how I appreciate how wonderful and great you are as players. I don’t know you so I don’t know how you are as people but as players, I love you."
