Paramount Chief of Bawku, Naba Asigri Azoka Abugrago II endorses President John Mahama

“If somebody does you good, we don’t return him with bad. It’s reciprocal. My yearnings have been fulfilled. Presidents have come and gone. Nobody has been able to satisfy my wishes and today you have come to do so. I’m dumfounded as to how to thank you. So, what do we do in return? One good turn deserves another. We should all vote for him in the upcoming elections to retain power,” the paramount ruler of the Kusaug Kingdom told his subjects [translated] amid cheers and tooting of vuvuzelas.

Acting Kwahumanhene, Nana Asiedu Agyemang III declares unflinching support for President John Mahama.

“Ghana is in pain. When Moses died, God chose Joshua and told him ‘Be strong and courageous’. These were the two words God told Joshua. Sefwi Anhwiaso chief endorses NPP's '1-Factory-1-District' policy

“We have heard you say that in every district your government will help establish one factory. As usual, we have heard the naysayers and doubters saying it cannot be done. I am not a politician, but I vividly recollect that our grandmothers used to make soap out of plantain husks and cocoa pods, Ogyeahorhuor Kwaku Gyebi II, said.

“Even if Nana Akufo-Addo does not build a cocoa processing factory here in Anhwiaso, but says he will set up a soap making factory, for example, it is clearly doable. The ‘1-District-1-Factory’ policy is one I wholly endorse. We, in Anhwaiso, know that once you have said you will do it, it will be done.”

The people of Dadieso, and indeed Ghanaians, have “heard so many promises from others. The bearers of some of these promises have turned out not be trustworthy anymore. However, we know this promise of ‘1-District-1-Factory’, is not a lie.”
