BNI raids ex-Sports Minister's home

The home of Nii Lantey Vanderpuye, a former Minister of Youth and Sports at Apraku has been raided by the Bureau of National Investigation (BNI)

The new government has launched an operation to retrieve all Government vehicles in possession of the immediate past NDC Government's Ministers and Party officials.

And the former Sports Minister who is allegedly in possession of one of those Government vehicles has his home raided by BNI on Tuesday evening to seize the supposed vehicle, according to a close sourrce.

“BNI forcefully entered the former minsiter’s house with some people who are NPP members,” a source told Herosportsgh.com.

“His wife resisted because of entry without warrant so two of their vehicles left the scene to secure warrant while one stood in front of the house,” the source added.

Nii Lantey Vanderpuye is currently a member of Parliament for the Odododiodio Constituency in Accra.
