A Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Koku Anyidoho has said that the Daily Guide is running adverts for President Mahama because Freddie Blay knows the NPP will not win election 2016.

Speaking to Accra-based Class FM, Koku Anyidoho said the National Chairman of his party (Kofi Portuphy) will not do same.

“It is very interesting, that the acting [National] chairman of the NPP is busy running ads for the person that he has schemed very hard to take the baton from.”

He explained that Freddie Blay only accepted this offer because “he [Freddie Blay] knows Akufo-Addo is not going to win the elections. And, he doesn’t want to be struck twice so, he will rather go for money now and be running ads for president Mahama and when Akufo-Addo loses he continues with his business.”
