The Venezuela national team has also used the British Aerospace Avro RJ85 short-haul plane which crashed on Monday.

The plane was carrying members of Brazil's Chapecoense Real football team to play a Copa Sudamericana finals against Atletico Nacional on Wednesday in Medellin when it crashed.

76 people including players and coaches died in the crash that had only six survivals.

It has now been revealed that Messi, Aguero and their Argentine teammates used the same aircraft to travel to Brazil for their 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier.

Argentina lost 3-0 in the game that was played on Friday, November 11, 2016.

The Venezuela national team has also used the British Aerospace Avro RJ85 short-haul plane, operated by a charter airline called LaMia.
