Laurent Travers is unsure whether Martin Castrogiovanni will play for Racing 92 again and accused the prop of punishing the club and their fans by partying with Paris Saint-Germain players in Las Vegas.
Italy international Castrogiovanni did not travel to Nottingham for Racing's semi-final victory over former employers Leicester Tigers in the European Champions Cup last weekend, reportedly telling the club that he had to tend to a family issue.
However, Castrogiovanni was subsequently photographed with the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Angel Di Maria in Nevada, leading the Top 14 side to suspend the burly prop.
Head coach Travers was left disappointed by Castrogiovanni's actions and admits he faces an uncertain future in Paris.
"I don't know [if we will see him in a Racing shirt again]. For now, he's suspended, we'll wait to see what's next," he said.
"He's penalising himself, he's penalising the club, he's penalising his team-mates and of course he's penalising the staff.
"For us, his attitude was too serious to accept this kind of behaviour.
"The trip did not annoy me, his behaviour annoyed me. Then we took a decision, we thought about it, deeply but quite fast, we did not think for a long time.
"There are rules given at the start of the season, we are responsible for these rules, and when someone breaches the rules and the respect, that's it."
