Try not to blink at this sensitive removal! In a new Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper aka dermatologist and TLC host Dr. Sandra Lee, MD tackles a blackhead right at the corner of a patients eye. This is one eye-catching blackhead removal sure to make your eyes water.
In the clip, Dr. Lee makes a tiny incision near the patients eye to give the blackhead an avenue of escape. She then uses her comedone extractor to press down on the growth, forcing out a collection of gunky material.
That was a good one! Dr. Lee exclaims as she pushes out all of the blackhead goop.
Dr. Lee tells the patient the removed growth was actually created when several smaller blackheads joined together underneath the skin forming one mega blackhead. Now thats creepy.

A blackhead is a single pore filled with dead skin and oil, which forms a black head when exposed to air. The lighter material seen in this clip is actually the same material as the "head," only this skin and oil hasn't been exposed to air.
