Sarah Hyland is currently on vacation in Mexico, but its not just the hot sun thats making her latest Instagram post sizzle.
"Hi. My name is Sarah & I’m EXTRA #bigdickenergy #showyourscars#actnatural So many hashtags," Sarah captioned the photo on Monday.
In 2012, Sarah underwent surgery due to her battle with kidney dysplasia, a condition where one or both kidneys don't develop normally, according to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases. She was hospitalized as recently as June (although it's unclear if her hospitalization was related to her kidney condition).

She also shared a shot of her surgery scar earlier in the month, during 4th of July celebrations:
Kudos to Sarah for showing by example that scars are beautiful, and for being so awesomely confident-especially since it hasn't been an easy road getting there. In May 2017, she took on critics who body-shamed her about her fluctuating weight.
“My circumstances have put me in a place where I’m not in control of what my body looks like. So I strive to be as healthy as possible, as everyone should,” she wrote.
