The 2016 flagbearer of the National Democratic Party (NDP), Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, has frowned on the use of Nigerian actor, popularly known as “Osoufia,” by the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) in one of their campaign advertisements.
The former first lady accused the NDC of using such ‘influential’ individuals to get the electorates to vote for them.
She argued that Ghanaians must be the ones touting President Mahama’s good works and not foreigners who do not live in the country.
“Let us tell the President that if he cannot do it for Ghanaians to tout his praises, he should not go for a Nigerian to tell us what is not obvious,” she added.
