Blackhawks end Kings' run in the NHL, Flyers lose

The Chicago Blackhawks ended the Los Angeles Kings' seven-game winning streak with a 4-2 victory in the NHL on Monday.

Patrick Kane scored once and provided an assist at United Center as the Kings' run was ended.

Corey Crawford made 33 saves for the Blackhawks, who rallied with three third-period goals.

Jake Muzzin had set up two goals in the first period for the Kings, but they were undone in the third.

The Kings sit second in the Pacific Division, while the Blackhawks are second from bottom in the Central.

Elsewhere, the Philadelphia Flyers slumped to their fourth straight loss as they were beaten 4-1 by the Vancouver Canucks.

Bo Horvat set up the opening goal and put the Canucks ahead in the second period, giving them a lead they would not relinquish.

Ryan Miller stopped 27 shots for the Canucks, who are top of the Pacific.

Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender James Reimer made 43 saves to lead his team to a 4-1 win over the Dallas Stars.

The result, which came thanks to two goals and an assist from Joffrey Lupul, ended the Stars' three-game winning run.
