Ghana international, Sulley Muntari has revealed that he misses playing for the national team after a three year absence due to suspension.
Muntari was a mainstay in the Black Stars set-up for nearly a decade. However, he has not featured for the national team following a spat with some FA officials in 2014.

The Pescara midfielder, together with Kevin-Prince Boateng, was suspended indefinitely for misconduct in camp at the World Cup in Brazil.
Muntari has not donned the national jersey since, despite apologizing for his actions in a letter to the Ghana Football Association last year.
However, he insists he will relish playing for the national team once again.
“I miss playing for the Black Stars. We made the Black Stars what it is today. And I love representing my nation,” the 31-year-old said in an interview with Bola Ray on Starr FM.
“I always enjoyed playing for the National team and as you know, it is an honour playing for your National team so I really miss playing for the Black Stars.”
The former AC Milan midfielder also backed new Black Stars coach, Kwesi Appiah to succeed following his reappointment.

“Kwasi Appiah is good. He doesn’t talk a lot. It’s important that he is back. He does his best in a simple way," he said.
It is however unknown if the former Al Khartoum coach will hand Muntari a recall to the national team.
